Oh Dear - 2019 at last
Although there hasn't been a blog for a long time - we have been meeting and doing things.
In February, we met to do some needle felting of landscapes in preparation for wet felting them later. Astrid led this workshop, since she had done some marvelous work like this at a retreat in New Brunswick.

June 2019
This was our annual pot luck meeting and end of the "official season".
We did some painting with food colouring. Lies and Astrid painted sock yarn skeins, Carol painted some yarn with Magic markers and Mara painted a sock blank.
Socks started.
In July
Kim and Mara demonstrated spinning at the Sifton-Cook Heritage Centre in Cobourg.
Kim was able to nudge the Centre's Grande Old Dame , the Great Wheel into life by some tweaking and stabilizing.
We won't be at the Port Hope Fair as a group this year. Too many other obligations that the members have taken on.
